Power Skating & Skill Development 

Ages: Group 1: 8-9yrs, Group 2: 10-12yrs, Group 3: 13yrs + up 

Location: 700 10th Street East Owen Sound Julie Mcarthur Rec Centre

Date/Time: Sunday's 5:10-6:00pm Oct 22nd-Dec 17th 2023

Class size: 20 skaters divided into 3 small groups. 

Power Skating & Skill Development Sessions will work on stride correction, explosive power, balance, control, edge work and drills. Power Skating focuses more on the skating and helps increase edge control, body posture and more effortless movement. Become a better skater, become a better player. Pucks are used in some drills; however the main focus on these sessions are form, skating skill, edge work and technical skill.
