Refund policy
Harmony Hockey Refund Policy
At Harmony Hockey, we strive to provide the best possible experience for all our participants. Due to the nature of our programs, we do not offer refunds once registration is complete.
Why We Do Not Offer Refunds
-
Limited Program Spaces
Our programs have strict enrollment limits to ensure a high-quality learning environment. Once a program reaches capacity, we close registration to additional participants. By registering, you are securing a spot that could have been taken by another player. Providing refunds after registration could result in unused spots, preventing other families from participating. -
Commitment to Fairness
We work hard to schedule and organize sessions based on our registered participants. Late withdrawals disrupt our planning, coaching assignments, and ice time distribution. Since hockey and skating programs require advance preparation, we are unable to accommodate refund requests once sessions are set. -
Subsidized Program Integrity
Harmony Hockey partners with government-supported financial assistance programs such as the YMCA Sport Subsidy and Jumpstart. These initiatives help families access sports at reduced costs. To prevent potential misuse, we cannot issue refunds, as doing so could impact funding availability and the integrity of these programs. -
Operational Costs & Ice Rentals
Ice time, coaching fees, and administrative costs are booked in advance based on enrollment numbers. Refunds would affect our ability to maintain the level of instruction and quality of programming that we strive to provide. -
Scheduling Policy
We reserve the right to adjust program dates and times when necessary due to factors such as tournaments, ice availability, or scheduling conflicts.
Program start dates may be delayed by a few weeks to accommodate events such as hockey tournaments. Session times may also be adjusted by up to 45 minutes. For example, a program originally scheduled for 4:00 PM may be moved to 4:45 PM due to ice scheduling changes.
All ice schedules are tentative and subject to change. While we always aim to remain as close to the original schedule as possible, adjustments may be required.
Schedule changes do not qualify for refunds. All adjustments are minor and made only when necessary to accommodate tournaments or ice availability.
By registering, participants acknowledge and accept that schedule changes may occur.
Crediting your registration
If a participant cannot complete the program, we may offer a credit toward a future Harmony Hockey session at our discretion.
Thank you for your understanding and support in ensuring that our programs remain accessible, fair, and well-organized for all participants.Â
