Class size: Max 24 skaters. 3 small groups divided by age/ Skill
This program is for skaters entering their first or second year of hockey; or skaters needing to brush up on skills getting back into the sport. Geared towards a beginner to intermediate hockey level. We focus on proper hockey stance, body movement, stops turns, agility, edges, puck work and more. NOT A LEARN TO SKATE PROGRAM. Must be able to skate the length of the ice; and work on stops and backwards. Participants seeking to learn to skate should enrol in our Kidskate Program.
What equipment do I need? This program is a partial equipment program. You may wear full equipment if you prefer. You must have at least Skates, CSA approved Hockey Helmet with Face Cage, Mittens or Gloves, Jock/Jill and Neck Guard, a warm pant easy to move in such as a splash pant.
