Summer Camp: Hockey and Skating Camp

Join us for an exciting and enriching summer adventure at our Hockey and Skating Camp! Perfect for young athletes looking to enhance their skills on the ice and explore a variety of sports, our camp offers a dynamic program filled with fun activities and led by certified coaches. Intended for skaters ages 5-12yrs. On ice groups will be divided by age and skill. Max 26 skaters, 3 on ice groups. 

Camp Dates:

• July 7th-11th (5 days) $365
• August 11th-15th (5days) 365

Location: Julie McArthur Rec Centre 700 10th Street East Owen Sound

Time: 8:30-4:30pm 

Camp Features:

• Ice Time: x2 ice sessions per day. Morning: First hour Power Skating and Skating Skills, Afternoon: Second hour hockey skills and drills, scrimmages, games and challenges 
• Power Skating and Hockey Skills: Receive specialized coaching to improve skating technique, puck handling, shooting, and more, enhancing overall performance on the ice.
• Scrimmage and Games: Put your skills to the test in friendly scrimmages and games, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit.
• Multi-Sport Camp: Expand your horizons with a variety of sports including soccer, volleyball, and more, promoting athleticism and versatility.
• Outdoor Play: Supervised outdoor activities and games, providing a refreshing break and encouraging physical activity outdoors.
• Cooperative Games: Engage in cooperative challenges and team-building activities, developing communication skills and camaraderie.
• Agility and Dryland Training: Improve agility, strength, and endurance through dynamic dryland exercises tailored to complement on-ice performance.
• Soccer and More: Experience additional sports and recreational activities, ensuring a well-rounded and enjoyable camp experience for all participants.
